We're researching how small subcontractors handle monthly pay apps and getting paid by GCs. We're not selling anything here. Answer as much or as little as you like: every question is optional, and short answers are fine.

1. Walk me through how you did your last pay app. What tools, and how long did it take? 2. When was the last time a pay app was rejected or sent back? What happened? 3. How long did your last job take to pay? What did you do while waiting? 4. Have you ever missed a lien or notice deadline, or come close? 5. What have you tried to fix this? What did it cost? 6. If a tool cut your pay app time in half and caught errors, what would that be worth monthly?
