Pay application template (Excel)
A pay application summary and continuation sheet that does the math: totals, percent complete, balance to finish, retainage and current payment due.

How to use it
- On the Summary tab, enter the original contract sum, your retainage rates and any approved change orders.
- On the Continuation Sheet, enter one line per item in your schedule of values: scheduled value, previously billed, this period and materials stored.
- Enter last month's total earned less retainage as "previous certificates".
- Before you send it, run it through the pay app checker.
This template uses PayClear's own layout. It isn't the AIA G702/G703 form.
